We at Freshness Farms envision a future where the majority of our society receives their food from a CSA such as ours, frequents the farmers market and when possible, grows their own produce for their weekly food needs. Esther’s Bakery

You may already know of Esther’s. They have somewhat of a cult following on the peninsula and in the south bay. This family bakery, located in Mountain View, bakes mouth-watering breads, pretzels, rolls, pastries, and cakes. They use only the finest organic whole wheat flour, whole grains, and freshest ingredients and bake using traditional German recipes. Norbert is the master baker. He started his career in 1971 after earning a Master Baker’s Degree from the School of Confectionary in Wolfebuettel, Germany. No wonder his breads are to die for!!

Blue Heron Farm

Laurie and Dennis are California Certified Organic Farmers. Their beautiful farm is located in Corralitos, near Watsonville. With love and care, they grow the most wonderful organic vegetables anywhere. Their leafy greens are the finest we have ever tasted and we are so happy to count them among our regular farmers. They harvest the day of our delivery insuring that you receive the freshest possible vegetables available. We adore them!

Hog Wild Farms

James, a California Certified Organic Farmer, grows premium CCOF strawberries in the beautiful Pajaro Valley. These family farmers also grow exceptional tomatoes and we love the variety! These are not grocery store tomatoes! These are beautiful tomatoes low in seeds and water and high in flavor. Don’t forget that you should never put tomatoes in the fridge! It kills the taste and with these beauties, that would be a crime.

Glaum Egg Ranch

Sherrie offers us the highest quality CCOF organic eggs from cage free chickens who Sherrie dearly loves! The main goal of the Glaums is to make sure that the health and welfare of their chickens is being maintained at conditions markedly above required standards. This allows them to provide us with eggs while we know that no harm is being done in the process. The family owned and operated chicken ranch is located in Watsonville with their business offices in Aptos, CA.

Silva Orchards

Eugene and Patty provide us with the highest quality and tastiest CCOF certified organic apples that the Pajaro Valley has to offer. In our book, Eugene is the “Master of Apples” and once you taste his apples, you’ll agree!

Full Circle Farm

Full Circle Farm in Sunnyvale is on an 11 acre parcel of land that is part of Peterson Middle School. Volunteers staff an educational, organic farm and use the food they grow as a means of putting fresh food in Santa Clara Unified School District school cafeterias and they sell some at their own farm stand twice a week. Just as important as the food, is the growing of the food. Local children are involved in every facet of the growing, harvesting and marketing of the Full Circle Farm produce.

Piexoto Organic Gardens

The Peixoto family grows a wide range of organic vegetables in Watsonville, CA. We love their arugula, spinach, bok choy, beets and the rest of their root vegetables. You’d be hard pressed to find better tasting vegetables or a family that works harder to make sure we have the biggest variety of wonderful local produce.

Honey of DiSTINGtion

Our beekeeper, Stefan Carpentier is a true renaissance man. He has spent his life learning anything and everything that interests him and luckily for all of us, what interests him is doing the right thing by our planet every day.
