You may already know of Esther’s. They have somewhat of a cult following on the peninsula and in the south bay. This family bakery, located in Mountain View, bakes mouth-watering breads, pretzels, rolls, pastries, and cakes. They use only the finest organic whole wheat flour, whole grains, and freshest ingredients and bake using traditional German recipes. Norbert is the master baker. He started his career in 1971 after earning a Master Baker’s Degree from the School of Confectionary in Wolfebuettel, Germany. No wonder his breads are to die for!!
